ST John House OOs Louis Derbyshire and Will Sudding are hoping to raise a combined £4,000 for charity when they run the London Marathon on Sunday.
The pair both left The Oratory in 2018, with Will the House Captain and Louis top try-scorer for the first XV.
The latter also won the Paul Keddie Shield and was a first-team footballer.
And the duo are now set to take on one of the World’s most famous events in a bid to help Vision Action.
The charity is dedicated to empowering visually-impaired people living in poverty, supporting eye health, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Both have set themselves a target of raising £2,000.
Explaining his motivation, Will explained: “Clear vision is one of the most basic needs, yet millions of people still lack the resources to access it.
“Please considering supporting, even a small donation can help change someone's life.”
Louis is running his first full marathon after doing halves in both America and Europe.
And he added: “No matter the size, every donation brings us closer to making a real difference.
“Your support will be much appreciated to me and Vision Action.”
