On Friday 22 March, The Oratory School will once again present the ever-popular Hopkins Society Jazz Showcase. Our theme is ‘The Era of Black and White’, drawing on the golden age of Hollywood movies.
The evening will begin with a drinks reception in the Front Hall at 7.30pm, followed by supper at 8pm in the Refectory. At supper, entertainment will be provided by the OPS Jazz Band, the OS Big Band, and guest artists, culminating in a late night jazz session.
Tickets are now on sale for £35.00, which includes an aperitif and canapés, main course with a glass of wine, and choice of desserts. There will also be a cash bar. The audience is encouraged to dress in formal black and white for the evening.
Tickets can be booked now for individuals or as tables of up to ten. All parents and staff of OS and OPS pupils are welcome, with their family and friends, as are Old Oratorians and Friends of the Oratory School. Do let us know your connection with the Oratory School when booking, as we will consider this when planning tables.
There will be a donation made from the evening to the school charities for 2018-19: British Lung Foundation, Launchpad, and the Apostleship of the Sea.
To book a seat or a table, please email reservations@oratory.co.uk.
Booking closes Monday 11 March.
