On Friday 7th October, a small, but determined group of Old Oratorians braved the tempestuous weather and rail strikes to gather at the Army and Navy Club in London for the Annual Oratory School Society Dinner.
A wonderful display of photos and school magazines graced the Alexandra Room, carefully curated by Camilla Macnab, the school Archivist, which was thoroughly enjoyed by our Old Oratorians.
The OSS President, David Connolly, said: "This year's AGM and Dinner was a very convivial event, particular highlights included a lively discussion regarding some revisions (that were approved) in respect of the Society's rules and an excellent update on the various OSS activities being driven by the Development Office and the School. We were fortunate to have Joe Smith attend the dinner as one of our guests - we wished him well in the next chapter of his career, and we thanked him for his tremendous service and impact at both the OPS and The Oratory over the last 10 years. Most importantly, we also remembered Dora Nash and recalled her immense contribution towards the Society and the School over many years."
