Old Oratorian Jonny Kilgallon (OS 2007-2012) delivered an excellent talk to 6th Form on Tuesday 28 February as part of our Loquitur series.
Jonny holds a BSc in Sport Science and Management from Loughborough University as well as an MSc in Applied Sports Science. He enjoyed working with Scarlets Rugby Club, the Premier League, and AMG Petronas F1 before embarking on a Law Conversion Course. He is a future Trainee at the prestigious Law Firm Addershaw Goddard, who specialise in banking finance, real estate, and court room litigation.
Jonny spoke of his time at The Oratory School, his successful career in Sport Science, and how studying a previous discipline and gaining work experience has helped him secure his Training Contract. He gave invaluable advice to our pupils interested in pursuing a legal career, the importance of getting started early by reading, networking, securing apprenticeships; to persevere when rejected; and that there is no one path to a successful career.
Thank you, Jonny, for your superb talk.
