On Sunday 8 October The Oratory School hosted a Real Tennis event for its parents, pupils and Old Oratorians (OOs). It was a fantastic afternoon, featuring parents and OOs playing a mixture of singles and doubles.

Highlights included our senior 1st team players, J. Bradley, A. Watson and E. Milton playing superbly in singles and doubles, with current school champion J. Bradley and Head of History (and OO) M. Hennessy winning 8/7 in a nail-biting last doubles match of the day.

This event was wonderfully supported by current pupils and spectators, and we are delighted to see it grow in numbers every term. Our Head of Racquets, Mrs Claire Fahey, said : "a pleasure as always to host this event; to see so many players, old and new in the Oratory family enjoying our great game.”

If you are interested in taking part in our next Real Tennis event, or are curious about Real Tennis, please contact Claire Fahey (c.fahey@oratory.co.uk)  or better yet, do come support her at the British Open, which takes place 12-21 November, along with Old Oratorian and French Open Winner Nick Howell (OS 2000-2004), and OO Zak Eadle ( OS 2009-2013)
