Inaugural Oratory Advent Carol Service in London

Last night we held an Advent Carol Service for Old Oratorians and Oratory parents in Corpus Christi Church in Covent Garden.
Last night we held an Advent Carol Service for Old Oratorians and Oratory parents in Corpus Christi Church in Covent Garden. The church, known as The Actors’ Church as it provides a home for Catholic actors performing in Covent Garden and around the West End, provided a beautiful setting to celebrate the festive season. Traditional carols such as Once in Royal David’s City, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and O Come, All Ye Faithful were sung enthusiastically by the congregation. Old Oratorians Scott Gray and Richard Gethin, and the Headmaster Joe Smith, read the three lessons.
The service was followed by drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to meet old friends and new. Thank you to those that attended.
