An excellent 6th Form talk by Old Oratorian Steve Noujaim (OS 1974-79) took place on Tuesday 6 October. ‘The Sky’s The Limit: plan to succeed, focus and never give up’ concentrated on Steve's extensive career in aviation, with themes on resilience, leadership and overcoming challenges.
Steve is an experienced display pilot, examiner, corporate pilot, adviser, mentor, consultant and trainer at Nouj Air Services. He began his career as a Pilot in the RAF and then moved to Virgin Atlantic as a training captain.
He is a world record holder for a solo round trip from London to Cape Town flying an aircraft he built himself. For this challenge flight he was awarded the Britannia Trophy bestowed by the Royal Aero Club, the highest accolade in aviation.
