Having toured Ireland over the exeat weekend, the 1st XV finished the season with an impressive win over Christ College, under the lights at Cardiff Arms Park.
Mark Mapletoft, former England international and Harlequins coach, was the guest of honour at the Rugby Club dinner in December. It was a memorable evening, which saw Timothy Owusu Brew awarded the MacRae Cup, Jack Thomson awarded the Captain’s Cup, James Simmonds awarded the Tom Hennessy Shield and Morgan MacRae presented with the Paul Keddie Shield for outstanding performance. Congratulations should also be made to Morgan for his invitation to Wales’ U19 training camp over Christmas.
