All-Weather Pitch Appeal
Capital projects are the large-scale investments that make it possible for us not only to maintain but grow and evolve your wonderful school. Unlike our annual operating budget, which covers day-to-day expenses like teacher salaries, classroom supplies, and utility bills, capital projects require significant, targeted funding. Because tuition and fees are carefully managed to keep the school accessible to a wide range of families, they don't cover the extraordinary costs of major construction and renovation.
This is where we look to our community for support.
Many of you will already know that this isn’t just about putting down a new sports pitch. It’s about creating a space where so much more happens. It’s where students come together to learn the value of teamwork, where they begin to believe in themselves, where they try something new they never thought they could do. It’s a place where friendships are made that will last far beyond school days.
For our girls’ hockey teams, who have already achieved so much, this means something simple but powerful: a home ground. A place where they can train and play right here at school, and where their families can be there to support them without having to travel elsewhere. Home games will finally feel like home.
The boys will benefit too. When the grass pitches are waterlogged, training doesn’t have to be cancelled. They’ll be able to keep going, whatever the weather, making the most of every session.
And this pitch won’t just serve the school. It will be something we can share with the wider community, opening our doors and offering a high-quality space for sport and connection.
This isn’t just a facility. It’s a foundation for growth, for togetherness, and for opportunity.
But we can't do it without your support. To help bring the new pitch to life as soon as possible, we’ll be taking out a loan alongside our ongoing fundraising efforts. The funds we raise in the months ahead will go towards gradually repaying that loan, covering both the interest and the capital, step by step.
We're aiming to raise £1,000,000.00. So far we've raised £117,929.40

"When I was at school and the pitches were unusable due to the weather, we'd often have to go and train off-site, so having an in-built multi-purpose facility at the school will help teams develop and take sport to a new level.”

“For a school which had never played hockey, to win the league every year is impressive – but this is going to be a game-changer.”
