'Dream really Big': A Loquitur Talk

Old Oratorian Rob Huysinga (2007-12) visited school earlier this month to address the Lower 6th as part of the Loquitur programme.

Old Oratorian Rob Huysinga (2007-12) visited school earlier this month to address the Lower 6th as part of the Loquitur programme. Rob’s talk was entitled: ‘Dream really big: From the 25 year old founder of Pan-n-Ice & ex Oratory rugby captain.’

Rob co-founded Pan-n-Ice in 2015 after discovering the ice cream roll concept when travelling. Rob spoke to the 6th formers about his personal story of building one of the fastest growing ice cream brands in the UK; academic studies and university; and the importance of attitude and genuine self-belief.

Rob focussed on three key messages: dream big, fail fast and be yourself using personal examples. The boys asked a huge number of interesting and challenging questions.

Thank you to Rob for giving up his valuable time to inspire the pupils.
