Old Oratorian and Professional Artist returns to the Oratory School for Workshop with Pupils

Old Oratorian and professional artist Lawrence Rose ran a spray-painting workshop with our A level and GCSE pupils

On Thursday 6th October, Old Oratorian and professional artist Lawrence Rose (OS 1998-2003) a.k.a stenz.co.uk ran a spray-painting workshop for our A level and GCSE pupils.

Students were shown how to handle spray cans in order to explore the diversity of marks and effects that can be achieved through this medium. The pupils were also given the opportunity to practice on boards, before collaboratively working on three canvases to create an abstract tryptich.

It was a hugely successful workshop, and we hope to welcome Lawrence back again to work with next year’s GCSE and A-Level students.
